This policy describes how Nuigo SAS (hereinafter “we”, “our”) processes personal data in connection with the site https://www.nuigo.net/uk and associated services (hereinafter, the “Services”).

I.Data controller

II.Data collected

Depending on your use of the Services, we may process in particular:

  • Identification and contact data: name, surname, job title, company, email address, phone number, account identifier.
  • Data relating to intervention requests (leads): search criteria (pest type, sector, location, urgency, budget, availability, free-text message), request history, processing status.
  • Partner company / professional account data: legal and commercial company information, users linked to the account, visibility preferences, billing when paid services are subscribed.
  • Technical and security data: connection logs, IP address, browser type, secure session identifiers (strictly necessary cookies), anti-fraud data.
  • Usage and audience measurement data: pages viewed, clicks, advertising or sponsored impressions on the platform, where you consent where applicable.
  • User-generated content: reviews, reports, exchanges with support.

III.Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to:

  • Provide the Services (account creation, connection with partner companies, transmission of requests, control panels): performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures;
  • Manage billing, collection and subscriptions / paid options: performance of a contract, legal accounting obligation where applicable;
  • Secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse: legitimate interest;
  • Respond to your requests and provide support: legitimate interest or performance of a contract;
  • Improve our Services and produce aggregated statistics: legitimate interest, respecting your rights;
  • Comply with our legal obligations (responses to authorities, evidential retention);
  • Marketing communications (newsletters, information about our offers): only with your consent where regulation requires it, or for B2B communications in accordance with the applicable framework.

IV.Data recipients

Data is accessible to authorised staff and suppliers of Nuigo SAS. Intervention requests are transmitted to the relevant partner companies or their representatives, to the extent necessary.

We use sub-processors for hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics and payment, in particular:

  • Hosting and deployment (e.g. Vercel);
  • Managed database (e.g. Neon / PostgreSQL);
  • Payment processing (e.g. Stripe);
  • Transactional messaging and support tools.

These providers are contractually obliged to respect the confidentiality and security of data.

V.Transfers outside the United Kingdom

Nuigo SAS is established in the United Arab Emirates. Where data of residents of the United Kingdom, the European Union or the European Economic Area is transferred to countries that do not benefit from an adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards (in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) and, where applicable, supplementary organisational and technical measures.

VI.Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes pursued, plus statutory limitation periods. By way of indication: inactive accounts after a prolonged period of inactivity and reminders; billing data for the period required by law; security logs for a limited and proportionate period; evidence in the event of dispute for the applicable limitation period.

VII.Your rights

In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable regulations, you have, subject to legal conditions and exceptions, the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw your consent where processing depends on it. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country (in the United Kingdom, the ICO: ico.org.uk).

VIII.Cookies and trackers

We use cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for the operation of the Site (session, security, load balancing). Other trackers may be placed subject to your consent where the law requires it (audience measurement, personalisation). You may configure your browser or use the tools made available on the Site where applicable.

IX.Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access control, logging, backups). No processing is entirely risk-free; in the event of an incident affecting your data, we will follow the notification procedure provided for by regulation.

X.Minors

The Services are intended for an audience capable of entering into contracts. If you believe a minor has transmitted data to us, please contact us so that we may erase it as soon as possible.
